Oral Surgery Richard L. Johnson, DDS
Dr. Johnson is a native of Oklahoma. He grew up and graduated high school in Edmond.
He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Central Oklahoma. After college he moved to Dallas to attend and complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry.
His academic record was outstanding and he was inducted into the national dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon. After graduation he joined the US Army and was stationed in Japan. It was during his tour in Japan, he became very interested in pursuing a career in Oral Surgery. He entered his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, and after graduating he ultimately returned to Oklahoma to open his practice in the Mustang/Yukon area.
Dr. Johnson, and his wife Sondra, have two adult children who grew up in Mustang. Their son, Damon Johnson, is a dentist practicing at Dental Depot in Yukon, and daughter, Nicole Johnson-Kaler, is a Realtor working in the Mustang/Yukon area. They have three wonderful grandchildren, Bryce, Breelyn, and Ryland.
Dr. Johnson enjoys many outdoor activities. His hobbies include duck hunting and spending time training and competing his Labrador Retrievers “Lucy” and “Streak”.
